The Crosby Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) was founded in the 1960s under the auspices of the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Dellwood apartment building was occupied in 1972 and the Edgewood complex was completed in 1978.
The Crosby Housing Authority operates under the direction of an executive director and a five-person board of commissioners. Employed by the Authority are a full-time housing specialist, maintenance and cleaning staff, and an activities director.
Personal warmth, cordiality, welfare, safety and expenses are concerns shared by every tenant and are quickly and effectively addressed by the Crosby HRA’s executive staff, commissioners, and employees. Every effort is extended to ensure tenants are welcome, comfortable and safe.
